• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Got my F3 back....and its broken again

My F3 was in the shop for nine weeks with a transmission problem. So I am riding it back and I noticed the gears where not changing and it took an unusually greater pressure to make it engage. So I road it back and they confirmed that the paddle switches are defective. The techs are going to replace then entire module on the left handlebar. So now I am waiting on that part.

None of this is iMotorsports fault. They have been great. It's Can Am. They don't have spare parts available on demand so its wait, wait, and more wait.

Bummer...

Makes you wonder how the other suppliers of the oem parts get stock and the manufacturer never has any....:banghead::banghead:

All I can say is don't be caught without a warranty on one of these things. I have 10K of work in my clunker right now billed to Can Am.

 I'm sorry to hear that this ordeal isn't over yet. :banghead:
Would the dealer consider pulling the part off of a showroom model?

I had the same problem when my water pump needed replacing. No spare parts available at the time.

I'd have to ask why they didn't catch that when they road tested it after the repair - or didn't they road test it?

As for spare parts, not many dealers keep bench stock parts for Spyders - that isn't Can-Am's fault - it is a dealer's financial decision.

jus' sayin'

CAN AM'S FAULT ?????????

..........................So you are putting the blame on Can Am / BRP because IMotorsports Techs didn't TEST drive after they worked on the transmission of your Spyder.........Sorry but I don't think that's fair ......Mike

I see your point, Blue. I noticed the problem within ten minutes.
