• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. Windshields for the F3 Touring/Limited

F4 Customs

SpyderLovers Sponsor
Here are a few pictures we shot last night of the new F4 Customs windshields for the F3 Touring/Limited.
Folks have been calling asking us for more measurements and photos so I hope this helps.

We have vents in our new models as an option. I will attach some photos. We use the same vent as we use in our RT and it is a 5 position louvered vent.

They come in 21, 23 and 25" tall.

Your stock OEM windshield measures 14" from the top of the gas tank to the top of the windshield if you were to draw a horizontal line.
The F4 Customs is as follows:
The F3-Touring-21" measures 19.5" from the top of the gas tank lid straight up to a imaginary horizontal line extending from the top of the windshield.

The F3-Touring-23" measures 20.5"

The F3-Touring-25" measures 21.5"
I am 6'1" and a 32" inseam (probably to much info) and I look well over the 21" but still get good wind protection. On the 23" I can sit up straight and look over or slouch and look through. On the 25" I look through the shield.
I will try and post some pictures as they come available and also we shot a new video and it will be available in about a week or less.
Give me a call and we can talk about them.

They also come in clear and tint.

Thanks so much.

GREAT Windshield

Got one of the 25" vented shields from F4 for my husbands 2016 F3 Limited and it is a GREAT improvement. He is 6' 2" with a 34 inseam and looks through it. All that I can say is that he is extremely happy with it and doesn't worry about bugs now. lol :D:yes:

Thanks for the comment.................Got a picture?

One more measurement?

Hi Don,

One measurement which would be ideal to know is the one mentioned in another thread which is from the seat at your crotch to your eye level. This is far more relevant than inseam length when looking at windscreen heights.

We loved our 25" W/S w/vent during our break in run of 1100 miles. Heavy rain just sheds off. We hit 100* heat, opened the vent. No more wind turbulence. Very calm, quiet cock pit. Tom :spyder:

Pete,
I don't know if this will help or not. I don't have a bike here right now to measure but when I took the pictures here is what I measured:

They come in 21, 23 and 25" tall.

Not scientific I know but trying to get something to help

Don's suggested way to measure is by far the best way. We all sit different in the saddle and may have an aftermarket seat which would change the measurement as far as looking through or over the windshield and the placement of the measuring tool is constant relative to the base.
