• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Need Front Wheel Nut Torque

Need to get the front wheels rebalanced. Can see the fenders shaking between 53mph-59mph. Looked at the wheels. Can't believe how many weights are on them. I believe they should be torqued to 77lbs. Need to know for sure. Tom :spyder:

Thanks everyone. Butt, I'm stuck in limbo at this point. Need a 21mm socket. Mine go to 20. :banghead: Have a 21mm impact socket, too thick. :banghead: Off to the tire dealer to see if they will touch it. If not, a trip to Home depot and hope they have a 21mm. Tom :spyder:

The 13/16th socket worked great. Balancing the tires took 2 trips to the tire dealer 22 miles away. When I went back the second time they told an older more savvy guy to do the balance. He showed me that the tires were both wobbling slightly. He then puts the weights in two places on the wheel. Says try this out. The tires should get better as they brake in. They might have been on the bottom of the pallet from China. Mushu handles much smoother better now. Tom :spyder:

As the tires wear (break in), the balance will degrade, not improve. A perfectly balanced tire will be out-of-balance as it accumulates miles. That's the biggest benefit to using some brand of balance beads IN the tire. The beads constantly compensate for tire-wear-induced balancing issues. Otherwise, one needs to re-balance tires multiple times over their life.
