Topping it is not a problem, it is finding someone who wants to be different and not conform to a life of the monotomus spyder
Hi, folks. I am Sharon aka IMRU3. Yes, BRP selected my Spyder PE443 to win the best personalized Spyder. I am thanful and humbled by the many praises I received from fellow Spyder owners and the BRP marketing director, Marc Lacroix. There were hundreds of Spyders at the event and greatly appreciated the camaraderie of Spyder owners. I was impressed with how each Spyder was uniquely defined whether it was a custom paint job or after-market part modification. It truly showed the passion and pride of each Spyder owner. With that regard, I am very happy to have won the best personalized Spyder this year. I am very thankful to IK for helping me build the vision that I had for my Spyder. It was the design that I wanted and it came out exactly what I was looking for. It took a while to get this project done but the wait was worth it. There is more work to be done in customizing my Spyder and IK knows about this.. it's not over yet. I am a Spyder-holic and that is 100% guaranteed. I am still in Burbank and I'm driving home tomorrow with my winning Spyder. I truly enjoyed meeting some nice folks at the event. I was super happy to have met Lamont as well. Big Congratulations to him too and the other Spyder owners for their awesome accomplishments. I am looking forward to another Spyder event and meeting more Spyder ryders.:2thumbs:
15 hours to SF, what happened?I was sorry that I missed this in person. I couldn't get my husband out of the bathroom fast enough after the end of the movie to come out and see it in the parking lot.
We had a blast this weekend and it was great to put faces to the names.
It took us 15 hours to get home yesterday from Burbank... we ran into a lot of troubles and had to stop alot as the weather kept changing on us.
I am beat but am really looking forward to hopefully being able to attend the gathering next year.

Going into malibu and the 101 on a sunday is cooler, but unfortunately, everyone else has the same idea.Well we took Mulholland Highway over to Malibu then went over to PCH up to Neptune's Net for lunch. Then there was traffic on 101 in Ventura, then the Garmin had us going through town and crap. Then the weather kept changing from 70 degrees to 95 degrees and back so we kept having stop to change gear.
We got to a point where we just gave up trying to hurry back and took our time. We were all tired and it was showing. We also hit traffic just south of Gilroy on 101.
We had a great ride back though and we were in good company. It was also a good test for us to see if we could endure 15 hours on the road with the Spyder, and we did. The Corbin seat was a godsend for sure!
We left Burbank at 8:30am and got home at around 11:30 last night.
I did not regret taking the 101 home though, most of the ride was in very cool and comfortable temperatures. We would have baked all the way home if we had taken I-5. Last night when we got home it was nearly 90 degrees out close to midnight.
you should get ad space on this site so we can keep up with all your new stuff:2thumbs:
