• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Occasionally experience a pop when slowing to a stop. On a 2012 RSS-SE5. What is the cause and the cure please. Thank you. John

Do you have an aftermarket muffler? If so, that may be the reason for the popping. I remember when I had my two wheeled motorcycles, it would pop if I didn't install a fuel sensor with the new exhaust.

Depends....

It is normal but with the stock muffler you don't notice it that much. If you have an after market pipe you will notice it much more and depending on the pipe you can add a fuel mixture regulator/controler. I have a yoshimura R77 and poping is there and I can control it with the clutch and throttle but if you have a semi automatic it is tough to do....if it is occasional I would not worry may be a combination of weather and engine temp....

You need new Y pipe exhaust gaskets. Likely only the right side one has gone bad, but you have to change both. That will stop the pop on deceleration.

Thanks for the help. Stock exhaust. John

Y Gaskets

Got them ordered. Found a great pictorial- how to replace the Y Gaskets by Wacky Dan. Great site. Appreciate the help. John

I love the decel explosions from my Two Brothers exhaust! I've always been curious why people try to get rid of it. I find it super badass and exotic sounding.

What say you guys that dislike it, reasons why?
