• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I'm getting ready to leave tomorrow, taking my camper and going to Spyderpop's for some farkles. Then I'll take the long way through the Ozarks to Springfield for the initial service on my F3T. This will be the maiden tour for my Leesure-Lite.

Have an enjoyable safe ryde.

Have a great trip and don't spend too much money at Harvey's, you've got a lot of trips planned this year. I hope the weather is great for your first camping expedition.

I tried to get out of my church service duties today, but all the subs were already out of town. So I managed to get packed and left right from the church about noon. I'm at a KOA in Sallisaw, Okla. Setting up the Leesure-Lite was pretty easy, but I need to get better organized. I've started a new list of little things I should have brought but didn't. Like a chair with a back on it. I'm inside the camper so I can have a light without the bugs attacking me. But it's uncomfortable to sit up on the bed to surf. By the end of this riding season, I should be an old hand at this. But through the winter, I'm afraid I'll forget it again! :( It was almost dark when I finally got set up, so I'll get some pics in the morning and post them tomorrow.

Lessons learned

Just write things down. A chair (see Aerostich.com) is huge!! Friends with one of those fitted a tiny air conditioner. A good nights sleep is critical. Another has an electric cooler, no ice. No mess, no trouble. Tiny gas stoves, LED lanterns, you can rough it in style!! Enjoy! Look forward to pix of your new rig! Joe

I've got lighting, cooling and cooking figured. I brought a clip on shop light, a 6" clip on fan, and my electric kettle to make coffee (otherwise, I eat out). It was hot when I arrived and set up and I ran the fan. I packed clothes like to stay in a hotel with climate control - shorts, short-sleeved shirts, etc. It was kinda cold walking to the bathroom. So I'll remember to bring long pants and shirts. There's also some stuff I want to modify the inside of the tent with. It needs some places to hang things. I'll look into some velcro loops, etc.
