There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. Casting for zumo 660 on triaxis 219400408

Help sought please

i now have the rt triaxis bars on my 13 st ltd, and have the gps all hooked up but cable/zip tied at the moment (unusable)

brp sell 219400408 which includes the casting, elec harness, rubber boot and hardware, and will cost me almost $300 here in Australia.

this is a bit frustrating as all I need is the casting so, having spent $1200 on bars and install I will not pay this extra amount. Just stubborn. I would buy just the casting, but brp do not have this option.

Help please - my husband can make me something in his magic shed, to use the casting from standard bars and add an intermediary plate to suit the one little screw hole we now have, but I wondered if either anyone has the casting part and is no longer using it, and/or whether someone could post a picture of it?

Thanks in advance

ps the adjustable bare are wonderful on my st. Thanks again to all who posted about this brilliant idea..

When I put a set of take off RT bars on my RS, everyone was selling them without the bottom covers.

My assumption is that the covers from the RT bars wok with the Tri-Axis bars.

If this is valid then the covers are ~$13.00 US, and can be ordered from cheap cycle parts. The bloody little screws were $1.99 each!!!.

Hope this is of help

Hi Al
thanks for your reply.
ive got the bottom covers, all good there.
what I'm seeking info on is the piece which goes into the little screw hole on top of the triaxis bars, and holds the gps mount. The bolt pattern is different to standard bars.
Part number 219400408 is the whole kit including wiring, but I only need the piece to hold the mount and am trying to avoid buying the whole kit...

how do you like the rt bars on your RS?

Cheers

Many thanks, I'd been searching for that thread...

I absolutely LOVE the RT bars. They allow me to sit up straight, I now have a bend in my arms at the elbow, and the leverage to crank it around corners is nigh and day improvement from the stock bars. I am looking forward to a 4000 mile voyage to California in July.

Thanks and cheers, Al
