• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

With weather starting to heat up, I was wondering what everyone uses to keep the hot sun off the seat while parked at work etc.... Would appreciate any thoughts.....

Thanks in advance.....

I've got a seat cover from the Spyder Sisters.
I bought it from their E-Bay store.
They're about thirty bucks...

SHEEPSKIN

I've been using sheepskins on my bike seats for over 35 years, they make your seat cooler In the summer and warmer In the winter. Sheepskin Is a natural Insulator..

I just picked up one of them also...

But you should be careful about getting them wet!

I bought 1/2 cover. Keeps seats cool and people off the bike as well. Sheep skins sounds like it would feel ohhhh so gooood .;)

Depends....

I have a half cover and All things three has some nice compact pull over covers that work great.

Towel

Wife made a cover out of a bath towel . Sewed elastic loops on the ends to go around the grips and antennas ...works real good .Don't take hardly any space and you have a rag if you really need one . If it rains though you have a mess.

years ago I was riding through Idaho on my FJR with a sheep skin on the seat. A local commented that I had brought my girlfriend with me.
