• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Dang Windshield Rattle

had a rattle/squeek in my windshield last fall. took it to the dealer and they replaced the bushings. everything was fine ... until today. now the dang rattle/squeek is back. only happens on rough roads when you get the side to side motion. hitting a bump straight on you barely hear it.

frustrating :banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead:

You need to get one of Noboot's aluminum billet windshield arms.
I'm not sure it will eliminate your rattle, but with the windshield rattling around that much, the center arm will surely break.

Just my opinion, I could be wrong.

You would have to make sure the Dealer replaced the Bushings in all three arms for it to do any good.

THIS WORKED FOR ME

I have a set of HOLE cutters, and I cut some washers from very thin plastic like KOOL WHIP lids or Margarine ...the stuff is strong and very slippery......I put one on each end of the Arms and supports .....it was just enough to stop the play at the ends........Mike :bbq:
