• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Helibars or NMM risers

No Magic vs Heli posture
picture.php

What are you showing me that one guy is larger than the other?
Putting the same rider on two seperate bikes, would be a better comparison

The Heli brings you back more but not up, look at where their hands are compared to the top of the center of the Spyder. The No Magic will hit the Corbin fairing in a full lock because it is higher.

I'm sure you would be happy with either but you did ask for a comparison.

Look again.

Regardless of the pictured riders' postures, Look at the vehicle.

Check the spacing in the photos from the center of the grip to the rear corner of the plastic piece above the painted panel with the Can-Am logo.

It's clear what Lamont said: NMN risers = higher, when adjusted at the "natural" angle.

Helibars = lower, further to the rear.

Mr Mojoe"s not rising...

So thanks for all the imput...
Being 5'10" and no one I know has a Spyder in my area, how can I make an intellegent choice without sitting on two different Spyders with two different set ups...
Both dealers in my area are not set up with either riser... do I just wait until there is a Spyder get-together in my area, or just wing it? At the last BRP event, the only thing to view was the stock 1" riser from BRP.
:dontknow:

Well, Motza, I have made several purchases just from reading the many, many posts about particular mods here on this forum, and judging based on people's reviews.

(Then again, I had ordered a Spyder before ever seeing one in person...)

At 5'10", I think you would notice a great positive difference in ride and control with NMN risers. The look is clean and "factory" in my opinion, and the install was straightforward, and I'm not brilliant.

I guess I'm saying that at the price, I don't think it's a great risk if you are already considering doing something with your bars.

Ok
If I don't have the BRP 1" riser installed, then which is the best NMM riser to buy 3" or 4" and would I have to alter any wiring?

There is a good close up picture of angle and rise for the NMN risers.

Could someone that has the Heli's riser put a close up of their system. We're, my SO and I, are trying to decide which one to get for her spyder.

NmN 4" risers rock.....

I just had my dealer put a set of the Nmn on my spyder. Its the best thing I done. I really like them. What a difference they make.
