• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

RAM Reservoir Mount

Has anyone tried the RAM reservoir mount B-346u? It mounts over the top of the existing reservoir cover. They provide longer screws but everything else remains the same.
I called gomobilnow and provided them with the screw and reservoir dimensions and it appears that it will work.
I ordered on just to give it a try and will let everyone know if it works.
The 345 model with the RAM mount in the center will not work because the screw spacing is closer.
Here is the web address of what I ordered.

I was going to purchase that one; but, a few members here said that the screw thread sizes that come with it will not work. However, they were able to find the correct screws.

I have one and it works great. The only small glitch is that the screws RAM includes are the wrong pitch for the reservoir. I just went to a local fastener supply store and got a couple of screws that worked fine.

Great! I can deal with the screws. Now I can call and order a second one for my wife's Spyder. I was waiting to make sure it works but now I know. Thanks for the help.

Which one did y'all use, I found another supplier that ships to canada but they have multiple motorcycle listings.

Got it and it worked great. You will need to buy 2 black #8x32 screws. I bought several in different lengths so I would not have to go back but ended up using the 1-1/2" long ones.

For the record, I just installed a 345 on my reservoir, and while the screws felt a tad tight, it did fit and works like a charm. I'm very happy with the placement of my iPhone now.

I purchased one of these prior to my trip to LA and I am very happy with the install and the location. I put my Garmin mount there.

A little further point of clarification - the screws were tight due to the hole spacing, however I still had to buy 8x32 1 1/4" screws as the ones that came with the mount don't fit. I'd hate for someone to have thought I meant the RAM screws fit with a little extra force

That's what I thought you meant.

I'm glad someone finally came up with the screw size actually needed.

Not to beat a dead horse here but I am simply confused on this stuff..maybe not technical enough for me or something.
I like the mount RAM-B-346U. Looking at the mount at mountguys.com, it is confusing trying to identify a mount that will work for the IPHONE4 so if you could post up the part numbers you guys use, that would be great.
