• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

My Install

If you are installing on the F3 it depends if you have a windshield.

If you do not have a windshield, then you can use the bolts that mount the rails to the dash.

I have the BRP Blue Ridge windshield. I mounted 4 speakers. So I mounted the front two speakers using the front bolts of the dash rail. The back two speakers, I drilled holes in the rail (it is aluminum), tapped them and used 5mx12 bolts. I mounted the back speakers just ahead of the windshield bracket. If you need more pics, let me know.

Lamont mounted the speakers a little different but also drilled and tapped the aluminum rail.

I have a Sharke 800watt stereo on my 2008 GS SM5. I mounted it on top of the dash where that slide out thing is and the
windshield.
I got rid of the pull thing that you are supposed to read, lifted off the plastic cover and screwed the stereo on that and put it back in place.

The speakers, I bolted on the dash sides.
Never had a problem with it, and it's very loud.

Easy install.
