How many Spyder riders are snowmobilers?

Just wondering how many of you own snowmobiles?
I like riding my Spyder almost as much as my sled. I love catching some air on my REV, can't do that on a Spyder. The main difference is I don't have any Spyder friends to ride with. I know a lot of people with sleds. I have three sleds so I go riding with my two children a lot, the time spent with them is priceless. I wish I could afford three Spyders (in my dreams), that would be great. I ride my Spyder with my biker buddies but I'm tired of getting all the attention. I LOVE my Spyder.

I'm not a snowmobile guy (hate the cold!). Let me know when rydes happen and I'll try to be around. You can also contact Firefly and BRPJunkie. They're not too far away, we're all somewhere around 50 miles from each other.

Love riding my Rev as well, the Spyder is a very close second. Now if you could get the Spyder over the same country and scenery you see on the sled things would be different.:ohyea:Actually my forum name came from my love of Ski-Doo's and the windshield on my Spyder is from a cutdown Rev windshield as seen in my sig.

Been riding sleds since I was 8. Ride PA, NY and Ontario with my dad still. No snow here in the mid-west so the Spyder is the next best thing!:2thumbs:

That is the truth. I've never been snowmobiling in Canada. A buddy of mine wanted me to go with him on the Snow Train excursion. Did not go, I have regretted it ever since.

Haven't been on a sled since I raced Speedways and Skiroules back in the early seventies. never rode on for fun, either, just raced them.

I've always enjoyed snowmobiling and still "Doo"! Most of my riding is done with my son and daughter who are now in there teens. We do most our our rides in northern Vermont on the VAST Trial System.
I have a 2007 Skidoo 600 Blizzard
My daughter has a 2007 Skidoo Freestyle Park
My son has a 2006 Skidoo 550X
With the Spyder and the sleds I can have enjoyable motorized recreation for most of the seasons here in the northeast.

Been on Ski-doo's since the early 60's, so when BRP introduced the Spyder it was love at first sight. I currently have a 2003 MXZ-X 800R and a 2001 Formula Deluxe 700 (for the GF).

That's pretty much why I bought a Spyder...the sledding season is way too short in VT. This way I get the best of both worlds - snowmobiling as much as possible during the winter and spydering the other 3 seasons!

I'm thankful my wife loves the sleds (Ski Doo) as much as our Spyder. Love the seasons, will never leave this area of the country. Both great but completely different. Dress for it and you'll never be cold as long as that's where you want to be.
As far as the water we go slow there. Kayaks and a pontoon boat (BRP doesn't make one of those (yet ?). :2thumbs:

Sea Doo here. Like the Spyder, I bought first production year in 1988 and it is still running with original 580 cc engine with all original parts. Also bought a 1989 and ran that for six years and replaced with a first production year BRP Jet boat with twin 650 cc Rotax engines. I kept that for ten years also selling with engines still with all original parts. Rotax rocks.

Not a sledder, always have wanted to try one, but there's just not much snow in southern California.

However, as my name implies, I'm an avid desert quad rider. I've got 2 Honda 400ex's, a Yamaha Raptor 660 and a Polaris 400 2-stroke. This is what led me to the Spyder in the first place; it's the closest thing I could get to a quad for street use, here in CA. With the SoCal desert being too hot between May and September, I wanted something to ride for the summer... but it's ovbious now that I will be riding Big Red all year round and much more than I had originally anticipated; it's just too damnably fun!

No Can-am's, what the...:cus: Just kidding, it's all good.

I have been riding sleds since 1969. When someone asks how the spyder handles I compare it to riding a sled. (Except every trail is groomed on the Spyder)

That is the reason i bought my spyder, i went to the Lake geneva sno-cross races winter of 07, to pick out the color of the xp i was going to order, and there it was, a yellow spyder. ordered 3 weeks later. next best thing to winter riding.

2006 GSX 600 with 7000 miles my wife and son use that sled and mine is a 2006 Yamaha attack 1000 with 15000 miles. Yes I do ride. I also have a 2001 traxter XT max with 9050 miles, and my wife has a 2002 quest with 3000 miles. Since we got the Spyder the atv get a lot less use.

Thats where I saw the spyder the first time too. But it took a while to desensitize the wife for me to get another toy. I ride a skidoo and an outlander, just not as much as I ride the spyder. In fact the outlander hasn't been ridden since last November deer season until tonite. Boy I sat on that thing and my first thought was why cant the spyder seat be this cushy!
I agree as well the spyder is the next best thing to snowmobiling.
