• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Pics of Juice Box

Can someone who installed the Two Bros Juice Box post pics of their install? I'd like to see where/how people have installed it. I have seen Lamont's console mod with the box attached, but would like other ideas.

Thanks.

I moved it again, it's tucked under the top frame tube now. I just pull it out if I need to adjust it.

Mine is under the top tube, just under the front of the seat. Raise the seat and slide it out. Long enough wires to tweak all day...LOL

I just ordered the juice box with the high flow air filter and will probably get it in 4 to 5 days. I don,t want to do any drilling or cutting of tupper ware so your idea (and others) of tucking it under the top frame sounds good, but how do you secure it (maybe Velcro ?):dontknow: and since the tank fill spout is on the left, I assume you are sliding it under the right side.:dontknow: How big of a job is the overall installation? I would appreciate any help or good ideas on this installation.

Mine slides in from the right side when sitting on the bike. The install isnt hard, but the directions for the front connector are wrong. They have a circle showing a connector, but its actually behind the one they show. The easiest way to find it is with a mirror if you cant raise your Spyder on a lift. Also, make sure you get a good ground for the wire or you will get times when the box cuts out. I am a big fan of di-electric grease to keep any corrosion out of the connectors. A piece of velcro under the Juicebox will keep it in place.

Thanks a bunch. That's what I thought based on your earlier explanation. Stuck at work so cannot verify for myself.

I am very interested in this mod. I will have to check out the installation instructions.

In you honest opinion, is it worth $300?

That is a good question; However, I'm not sure any mod is worth the cost--Just something we all enjoy.:f_spider:

Just my opinion, but its worth it till the PowerCommanders come out. Much better tuning capability.

I wasn't that thrilled with it when I first got it, mostly because I didn't take the time to learn what it was doing besides adding fuel. Now that I have it dialed in I love it. My buddy Ron just ordered one and he's cheap. :Dnojoke

The left side is not to hard to install. The right side is a booger but it can be done with the air box in place, that's how I did it. Here's what it looks like with the box off.

what exactly do you do with the juicebox? I don't really need my bike to go faster i would just like it to be 100% reliable. I have a pipe installed and am ordering the green filter from nmn.. Maybe a juicebox too ?

Neither man nor machine will ever be 100% reliable. If you wish to make a modification for better performance, for comfort, or to fit your riding style or needs...go for it. If you want a magic part that can make your ride invincible, you are going to be disappointed.

Scotty,

That's easy for you to say, you're already invincible!
