• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Well have finally gotten back on the road for the year. All the winter futzing completed, semi-clean, tires aired up, and lug nuts tightened.

Michigan, as are other parts of the country, is experiencing a very early spring. My grass is greening up and if it continues at this rate will be mowing grass before the end of March.

My new Russel Day Long seat came in on 3/16, and it has been installed. Trailer hitch is on; wiring functionality has been rechecked. I will go to Elkhart Indiana on 3/29 to pick up my new Time out camping trailer.

Took a short ride today to pick up some household supplies and prescription for my better half who is recuperating from a total knee replacement. On return to my bike to come home was approached by someone in the parking lot inquiring how I liked my spyder. As usual I explained that I loved it, how trouble free it was overall, pointed out the safety aspects. He told me that he's had a knee replacement over two years ago and didn't feel that he could any longer safely handle a touring bike. I told him to go over to Leaders Marine and take himself a test ride and get back into the wind if that's what he wanted to do.

Ah, you meet the nicest people on a Spyder; sorry Honda, but ya do.

That's my ramble for the day, will try and get some pictures of seat and trailer soon.
