• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

does anyone know if there is a bracket i can put on my corbin drivers seat back rest to make it come forward. i am short and my back does not come close to the backrest. i saw one once at spyderquest, but can't remember the brand. if anyone has any idea, please let me know.

thanks

Utopia makes an adjustable backrest for the Can-Am seats. Since the bracket is bent for the OEM seat pan, I don't know if it would even come close to fitting a Corbin seat pan.

corbin seat adjustment

I know this is a spyder forum but I think I might be able to help. I have a vegas 8 ball that I purchased a corbin seat for...the back never rested in my back had me laying out like a cruiser...so the 1/4 20 screw they had for an adjustment was not long enough it was only 2 inches...we had to buy some from a company that makes 1/4 20 that is 1/4 20 2 1/2 inches long...and we bought 3 inches long also...if you need one hit me up and I will send you one cause I had to buy 50 I think or 25 cant remember...but they couldn't just send me one...they are called I believe a set screw that you use an allen wrench. nothing else works to force that seat up in a straight up fashion the way I like to ride.....Tina and Phil p.s. I now have the victory vegas and a RT I like riding the RT more if anyone needs a screw let me know....uhhh that didn't come out right....lol....(tina)

more info on seat adjustment for corbin seat

Interesting... Do you have a picture of your fix?
No I don't have a picture of the fix which is a 1/4 20, 2 1/2 inch cap set screw (any other screw wont due because the head of the screw will be too large and affect your adjustment)..... replace the adjustment screw that came with the seat (should have been two adj screws sent with seat) if the longest one doesn't work replace it with the 2 1/2 inch long set screw. its called a cap set screw takes an allen wrench to adjust it....remove seat from bike and once you take the original screw out of the seat, replace screw with new one, replace the seat, then you can lift the flap behind the back rest and adjust the screw with an allen wrench without taking the seat off ever again. The fix is replacing the screw Corbin provides with a longer one.

Today I bought a 3" screw with a Phillips head for the same problem. It worked just fine.
