• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

A little help from the MO folks please.

One week from today at this time we hope to be rolling into MO or close to it. My current plan it to take the southern loop around St. Louis. I have done that before with great success. It has been a few years though, so if anyone from the area has recommendations, please pass them along. Also, for anyone that would like to meet us along the way and sign the banner or ride for a bit, here are our scheduled gas stops. All times are very approximate of course.

Pilot Oil #165 -Effingham (IL) I-70 Exit 162 at approx. 10:45 am Central Time

Pilot in Fenton MO just west of St. Louis I-44 Exit 275 12:45 PM Central Time

Lebanon. B&D Auto/Truck Plaza I-44 Exit 127 3:30 PM Central Time

Miami OK, fuel stop to be determined arrival approx 6:00pm Central Time

Arrive at Terra Starr RV Park in Checotah approx 8:45pm Central Time

If I see any changes come about I will post them, this is all dependent on a trouble free trip and very quick fuel stops and banner signing. Not a lot of visiting time. We don't plan on any sit down dinning, all our meals on the way out will be at the gas stops. I may be cutting it close on some of these times, so if you are going to meet us at any of these places, please be patient if we aren't there yet and maybe be early in case we are running ahead of schedule. This will all be happening on Monday, June 22nd. Hope to meet of few of you anyway.

Can you maybe put the word out to your co-workers that if a yellow and a red Spyder come through at a little faster than normal clip, please cut them some slack. :D

Nice weather for riding (only 96 today)... (those of us with Red :spyder2:'ers know we are the only ones that have on-board air conditioning.;))

Well Don, Next Monday night why don't you come on up to Checotah OK and say hello. According to Google it is less than a 4 hour ride for you. Lamont, BaJa Ron, DaddyDarko, effgjamis, RePops, bjt and I will all be there to say hello. I think AtaDude is going to try to stop in and say hello. We are hoping to be there before 9:00pm, I know that makes for a late night ride back home for you, or you could camp. We are staying at the Terra Star RV and campgrounds in Checotah.

I won't be around to see you guys, I wish I were cause I can see the interstate from my house.....I will be in Springfield, IL spending time with my dad for fathers day....Take some pictures for me....

Andy

PS. You ought to stop at CowTown for like 5 minutes on your ride thru Missouri and take a picture of the banner infront of the cowtown sign with them....That would be awesome...Here is there number 573-885-6393 ask for Ricky Lynn (rode in the USO) or RIck the owner....Just thought I would throw that out there, just got off the phone with them and they thought it would be cool...

If you are referring to I-70 to 255 to 270 to 44 as the southern route
it is still the best bypass around St.Louis. I live in Fenton so maybe I
will be lucky enough to catch you passing thru. This might prove
helpful Westcounty Motorsports is about a mile from your stop and
they are a Spyder Dealer.

Yup, that is the loop I am talking about. Thanks for the affirmation. Hope to meet you in Fenton Arnie.

It's all gonna depend on timing Midnighthog. Extra stops can kill a good trip. No such thing as a 5 minute stop at a dealership.:D But anything is possible, considering the purpose of this trip and the importance of this banner.

We'd let you stop and see us, even in a truck...Why are you going to be in MO in a truck?

I'll be working midnights and there won't be any way for me to make Effingham or Fenton. :gaah:I will definately post your schedule for our Midamerica Spyder Ryders Club meeting this Thurs. the 18th. :chat: Maybe some of them can join you.
Bmwgene has been keeping us informed and has let us know that you would be flying through when you got here!!

Maybe next banner!

It would be fun to catch a ride with you all if possible on the flip-flop!!:2thumbs:
