• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Frogg Toggs

I've been using Frogg Toggs for better than 20 years, great product, light weight, water and wind proof, just don't get them on hot engine parts.

I love them. Light as a feather and keeps you dry as a bone. They don't take up much room in the trunk either.

BTW, on my ride home from Dallas to Phoenix last August, I had to ride 100 miles in pouring rain. The Frog Toggs kept me nice and dry. Yes, I have the jacket and the pants.

I prefer my TourMaster one-piece suit.
(No gaps between the jacket and pants... Ever!)
I've used three of them over the years, and they've always kept me dry: even during three rain-soaked 600 plus mile days of riding to and from SpyderFest 2013... nojoke

Frogg Toggs are great. Be sure to get a motorcycle specific set. They're designed for heavy rain (waterproof seams) and have reflective piping on them. And just like others have said, they are great in cooler weather over your regular riding gear.

There are lots of proponents on this site for the Frogg Toggs. I don't think you can go very wrong with them. Buy specific for motorcycle use if possible.

As you can see from the other responses, Frogg Toggs are great. I have the pants and jacket and have worn them in torrential down pours - they kept be dry. They work like Gore-Tex, in that you don't feel clammy because water vapor from your perspiration evaporates through the fabric. You can't go wrong with them.

2 thumbs up

Also use and recommend Frogg Toggs, 2 sets in the trunk don't take much room or weigh anything.

Howdy. I agree with everyone about the Frogg Toggs. In addition, they fit easily over my boots when stopping to get into them on the road. I bought mine from Pit Bull.

sounds good. I have a Columbia rain suit and it gets too hot. Gortex is way overpriced. I like the idea of the bib because I get water up my jacket.

Also, I notice there prices vary quit a bit. Some jackets for $40, others over $150. What is the difference? Materials? Are the cheap ones not as breathable?

Me n Deb both have the jacket and pants. Never let us down yet. Waterproof and a warm layer for the cold days.
