• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Need to locate the flasher relay on my 2013 rts se5! Anyone? Also need to know if the brake lighting system is connected to the can bus!:gaah:

From what i've heard there is no flasher realay it is part of the gauge clustler electronics. not separate.

Yeah. No flashers anymore. This info comes from a 2012 manual, although I don't see why it would be any different on a 2013. Turn Signals use CAN Bus. Brake lights don't appear to, but the BLS does input to the ECM for tripping off the cruise control, etc. BLS is directly powered from a fuse in the front fuse panel.

Do you have a problem or are you working on a mod.?

One correction Snowbelt. The turn signals are LED in the front and incandescent bulbs in the rear.

Lou49, why are you needing to locate the flasher? What sort of a problem are you having? As said, there is no flasher for the turn signals.

Yeah, you're right. Nice catch. Thanks. As you can see, I just did a screen grab from the manual. Isn't the first mistake in the manual, and probably won't be the last.
