• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

it aint no GOPRO

on the positive side, there is a lawsuit waiting to happen, "there was no warning label on the helmet
NOT TO DRILL A HOLE IN IT"

In NYS (bike/trike that can go over 20 mph) a helmet has to meet certain requirements, and those that are DOT approved do meet them. Modifying a helmet so the requirements are not met is illegal in NYS, and you are liable. Now, back on track.

making my head ache

please value your life. you can buy a can-am, then you should be able to afford a safe way to attach a camera.
modification of the helmet disturbs the impact absorption property of the helmet shell.

at 25 miles fall is already enough to kill you. try falling a 15 miles per hr of a bicycle. head injury is no laughing matter.

be safe out there. understand that you live in a SOCIETY. meaning that your action affect everyone! who do you think picks up after you when you have an accident on the public road ? even private road.

As I like to quote: The Optimist invented the Airplane , the Pessimist invented the Parachute.. Yes I do have my everyday riding helmet(no holes) this is strickly used on rare occasions, the integrity of the helmet is not comprimised by 1 small hole but thanks for the concern..

That is done at the factory, where they have equipment to check for spidering. You may not notice spidering just by cursory visual checking.

you got to be kidding

as long as you think of that helmet as a camera holder and not a safety device your going to be OK.

You come up with some good counter points. The true answer may never be known (I hope). Glad to see that you are back posting. No one is ever going to agree with everything that is said. Glad that we can point/counter point without anyone getting to mad or to offended.

Hang in there. This to, shall pass. :roflblack::roflblack:
