• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

OK, the cost of a barrel of oil has dropped significantly. When are groceries going to see some reduction in cost?

Companies are to busy stuffing their pockets with fuel surcharges and price padding to cover their profits.

Don't expect things to go down as fast as they went up and stayed.

The Missus and I spent the better part of a two hour ride in the cage, fighting over this topic... nojoke
Low oil prices are good... and bad!
Good; in that our heating oil and gasoline costs drop significantly!
Bad; because oil is a major player in the commodities markets.
When their stocks drop: ALL stocks seem to drop!
(Have you looked at your retirement accounts recently?)
Low oil prices will also drive out competition in the energy markets...W
hen prices go back up; we get stuck holding the bag! :yikes:

There needs to be a "balance" in the markets; where everybody is just about equally-unhappy.

Yep yep

I always like how companies raise shipping prices due to the raise in gas prices, but I sure dont see them dropping them when gas prices go down either....

The Missus just reported that she saw $1.98 per gallon for 87 octane yesterday...
...Which is when a rise in the cost of crude was reported!
