• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

No riding for awhile

While out of the country over Christmas week I had a non riding accident that both broke my left fibula and badly dislocated my left ankle. Made it back in country Sunday and Tuesday had surgery that put in a plate that set the bone and got the ankle back together. Back home now but will be off my feet for a long time and that means no riding for at least 2 to 3 months...prime riding season here in Florida. 65 year old bones don't knit like they used to.

Now I'm laying at home, popping pain meds, playing guitar, and watching bowl games. I'd rather be riding but it could be worse.

Let's hope the bone knits faster than expected.

Sorry you will miss the good riding weather in FL. Every riding year is a bonus year for me these days.

Bummer...

Sorry to hear of your misfortune. We just don't snap back like we used to. But not all bad you probably can use some rest...at least a couple of days....:roflblack: heal well and heal soon....

OUCH, GET WELL SOON,

(i shouted that because as we get older.........our hearing don't work as well either)

Get well!!

Hope ing for a full and complete recovery. I know about the old bones and all you can do let/ help your body heal.

Good luck, Kaos

It's not fair to leave all of us hanging.... What were you doing when all that happened... playing football, rugby,
sky diving, trying to ride a hover board?
What ever it was get well soon....

I do hope you get better soon, flaggerphil, but I gotta ask....

Isn't your Spyder a semi-auto?? Didn't you say it was your LEFT leg & ankle that got damaged?? Didn't you get it put into a cast?

Not suggesting anything untoward here, nor trying to put ideas in your mind; but if you don't need to use your left leg for gear changing, wouldn't Spyder Ryding be great therapy & exercise for the rest of your body?? ;) (Says Peter, with his left shoulder in a cast as he rydes off on his semi-auto RT! )

Rest up!

The good news is you should be all rested up just in time for a trip to Springfield, MO in April. Best wishes on a speedy recovery..

That may have something to do with his weight bearing status of the operated leg.

Speedy recovery to you, flaggerphil.
