There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I don't know of any independents in the Charlotte area that service Spyders and as far as independents in general are concerned one would have to be well established with income that could support getting into and keeping B.U.D.S. and manuals up to date. Yeah, there are a lot of things that can be done on Spyders that don't require B.U.D.S. but I wouldn't want to find out the independent couldn't finish the job because he didn't have it. JMO.
I did not buy my Spyder from them because the sales department wouldn't deal but a couple of months ago I had to have it rollbacked to Matthews Fun Machines after it got a tank full of heavily watered gas. It cost $188, paid in full by the pertoleum distributor that owned the gas station, was dropped off just before closing Friday and I had it back mid-afternoon the following Tuesday (shop closed Monday). PM me if you want details on how I believe their customer service focus works and made dealing with them a painless issue.
