There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. First Come the Snow, Then Comes the Salt/Brine

The first snow of the season started @0900 hours today. By tonight INDOT will have their trucks out spreading salt/brine on the roads. Riding season has officially had a fork stuck in it.

 OUCH!!

We might still have another week or so left in ours. No serious weather is forecast until next weekend...

Sad news..!!

:banghead::banghead: now time for other things and prepping for the next season...farkles a full inside and out cleaning and winter games...

Northwest Ohio

We're not far from the main blast of winter coming through this weekend. The most we might get here is about 1/2 to 3/4 of an inch of slushy snow along with the cold. Ironically we're supposed to be seeing temps of about 55 degrees on Thanksgiving day and Black Friday. I might get out for some local rides those two days.

One inch of snow here when I woke up but it was gone in a few hours. It was 32 degrees with a 22 degree wind chill factor and went to 40 or so.

Sam:yes:

Set a daily record for snowfall today. Areas just north of us got 4"-5". Chicago got 14"+. Low tonight of 19-22. High Sunday just @freezing. The heat wave comes in for Turkey Day, 55. At least I won't be freezing my arse off smoking the bird.

Woke up to a fresh 4 or 5" of snow this morning - in the central part of Iowa. Even more North of me. Super cold temps (5 or 6 deg. F) right now (Sat. night) so what little melting we got earlier today is now rock solid. Lots of packed snow and slippery spots on the roads right now. :gaah:

However, the good news is early this next week we should once again see some upper 40s, maybe even a low 50. That will help get rid of some of this "white fungus".

The long range crystal ball from the weather-guessers:dontknow: says we are to have a bit warmer temps all Winter, and less precip than normal. I certainly hope they hit it... and also an early Spring would be nice. :coffee:

I am trying to figure where the 14 inches of snow is at in Chicago:dontknow:..I think it was more north like Wisconsin that got the much fungus..
we got lucky wet heavy then turned colder..low of 10 or so tonight :yikes:

Boy it was so cold today

I had to put on a windbreaker
it was almost freezing it only got
up to 69 today for the high,
if this arctic blast continues I will
have to find a jacket to ride on days like today
they said on the news that we will have
cold weather for Thanksgiving in the low 70's

Still no snow

We do not have any snow in Vermont, and the ski areas have not opened up yet, usually by now we have some snow, we have had frost , but no snow. The temps have been in the 50's sunny (WOHOO) we can see grass. Also, Thanksgiving is usually a big ski week-end here in New England. Deanna

So sorry to hear you all are done for the winter, here in Chiang Mai Thailand today its a nice 85 with very low humidity. Wait a min there is no winter word in Thai, lol.
