BRP Welcome to the family Packets

Is BRP still sending out to the New Spyder Owners/or the current spyder owners( that traded or up- graded )" Welcome to the Spyder Family packets"?

Inside the packet a spyder patch/ pin, with cards to give out to people that are curious about the Can-Am Spyder. Deanna

That certainly sounds like a good idea, and I would like to have one. But, I bought my Spyder 2 months ago, and haven't gotten a "Welcome to the Family" packet.

I bought my RTS September 2014 and had heard of the packets, so I reached out this last spring and they said they do not do that.

When I upgraded to my current spyder( 2014RTS-SE6 cognac).

I did receive a folder with a Can-Am Spyder 2014 Riding gear/ Accessories/ Genuine parts, and with a spyder patch and pin, and with cards ( that you give to people that you meet @ the gas pump, in the parking lot) Also it mentions the " The spyder Achievement pin program. It mentions when your spyder odometer clicks off, 5,000, 25,000 and 100,000 celebrate by going on -line and apply for your achievement pin."

In the folder I got a letter saying " Congratulations on your purchase of this unique and exhilarating Can-Am Spyder roadster, etc. with a picture at the bottom of the letter of a 2014 RTS-SE6 cognac. Signed " Sincerely, The Can-Am Team. Deanna

I purchased mine in September of 2014 and all I got was a lot of disappointment when I talked to my first dealer about a 3k mile service. Fortunately I found another dealer that has been top notch.:2thumbs:

It is sounding and looking like the welcome packet is no more. Kind of sad, because it was nice to receive a little gift after making that multi $K purchase.

It seemed to be good/bad. We kind of figured out that they were sending out the packets quarterly. If your dealer timely registered your :ani29:, it got in the welcome packet queue for the quarters mailings.

I got packets for all five of mine from 2008 through 2014. I guess I get no freebies if I purchase number six. :dontknow:

I think I got a kind of "unique" packet in 2009 (second year of :spyder2. Along with the patch, pin, and advertising materials, I received a pin that said "2009 Ambassadors" and they included a really nice photo album for me to put our :ani29: ride pictures in. No letter of explanation--just the extra goodies. I still wear the pin on my "trophy" vest. I guess that I was one of the early ones to buy a :ani29: in two consecutive years. :dontknow:

I think I bought mine in Mar 2014, and around Nov. got "the packet"
It was an okay deal. I try to give it all away.

I got mine a little over a month ago. The only thing I got from them in the mail was a reminder to make my first payment!!!:yikes::dontknow:
