• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

trunk power port

for the time being is it feasible to use the cig power port in the trunk tourpak for my tender? tks,

You do need to move a fuse in the fuse box to keep the 12 v port active all the time, but it's easy to do. I use the trunk port all the time in my garage. I added some wire cover over the battery tender cable because the trunk lid sits on it.

If you are referring to the power port in the rear trunk, yes it is feasible to use it for your battery tender as long as you have it set to be "HOT" all the time. (EX: Powered all the time whether the key is on or off)

evidently the previous owner already did that, maybe. I put a test light on the leads and it was hot. ignition was not on. thanks for the info. theres a lot of info for a nebie to absorb on these things!

Your owner's manual discusses which fuse you move from one port to another to make the cig socket always hot or switched.

thanks folks for the info. I wasn't sure if it would work properly or not. just didn't want to take the time right now and access the battery. ridin days are getting slim in this neck of the woods.
