• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Ok. Got them in and put the in my headlights. Problem is that the housing area for the light itself I cannot put all the wires and the square on the cable in there. I ended up putting them outside of it and just put the cover on and pinched the wires with the gasket. I did the fog lights but it had more room in the housing for the bulb. What has everyone else ended up doing. They work great but I just am afraid the water might seep in.
Thanks
Lois

..I believe JC Thorne did a video of His install for The Xenon Depot........I haven't done mine yet, but I am considering cutting a small slot in the rear of the cap,( with a Dremel ) just large enough for the braid to slip through......then opening up the braid like they recommend........maybe JC can post a LINK ???......Mike

I was able to make it all fit.Very tight! Might redo, cutting hole in cap and after wiring through hole reseal it,for water tight. Having the tight fit ,makes me nervous about heat. Not sure how hot they will get. Others have did the hole cutting thing.:agree:

Larry, if your concerned about the BRAID getting hot enough to damage the cap ( either totally contained inside or put through a slot ) I wouldn't be........The reason I want the BRAID to be cool is because I have read that the performance of the LED can be effected by how HOT it gets ie. the LUMENS drop do to heat........Mike

it fits, i did it. if you can get the black square box that lights the bulb at the top of the housing, then just fit all the wires and braids around it housing, it will work

Thanks everyone. I went ahead and did the dermal thing. Work good. Used liquid tape to keep it water tight.
They r great lights

Lois , regarding the " dermal "( dremel ) thing you did.....Did you cut a slot and put it straight out the rear of the cap ? ?.... and the liquid tape you used !!...I don't know how hot the BRAID can get !!.. Soooooo I have a concern about the flammability of that as a sealant........I think JC did some temp testing on these, maybe you can ask Him........Mike
