• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I really hate to stir the pot, especially as bad as I am about remembering names, but Devious56 is a David. But that's ok, I won't hold it against you. hahaha :roflblack:~ It was a nice ride, and the food good enough to fill my belly. Looking forward to next time.

Had an Aunt that lived in Palatka. Let's see, it was about 37 years ago when we visited. She had a small little cottage on a sandy dirt road with two steers in the yard that she was raising for beef. And my most vivid memory, she had a green 77 Chrysler Cordoba. Funny what sticks in one person's mind. :D

I'm almost sure I wouldn't recognize Palatka today?

My old childhood memories of summers there. Had relatives that lived on Husson Ave. right off Silver Lake Drive. I someone asked about how Palatka had changed...well, not for the good. Other than the St Johns and Ravine Gardens there's not much to brag about. The town has suffered like many small places on the river. But it was a great place for boating and fishing on the river when I was a kid.

The heck with nostalgia, Angel's Diner looks like it'd make a stroll down memory lane worth it alone! Someday!
