New BRP seat with pics . . . .

Had the new seat installed today, and many thanks to Ride Now Ocala and the great techs and parts guys. Kind of nice to have a dealer close by that seems to really care. Haven't put a lot of miles on the seat yet, only about 30 or so. But it's definitely a night-and-day thing from the stock seat (I imagine anything would be-- stock seat reminded me of sitting on a partially deflated baloon). I tried a Corbin (not a ride, but just sitting on one mounted on another Spyder) and found it to be very firm. It reminded me of the Corbin that is on my Road King-- it's a rock, but good for the long haul. The BRP seat is a bit softer, and for me it is very comfortable. Stitching is remarkable for a production seat. I do like the idea that it uses the original mount.

When it comes to seats, it's a personal preference as we all know. But I have to give a big thumbs up for this one!

I was fortunate enough to see Ira's (he's here sometimes) seat last week. I really like the look of it...it's more comfortable and nice looking...cool Spyder logo on it too.

Enjoy...I think you made a good investment in your bike and your comfort!

Sounds like a good deal...I'd probably rip the darn thing putting it on...or put it on backwards, inside-out, etc...

Very curious to know that the Ocala dealer gets excellant part response as opposed to the Kissimmee dealer... grrrr.

Same from our dealer as of yesterday...and ours has been on order even longer, a week after they actually were posted in the BRP parts fiche. Not sure why some dealers got a bunch quicker, but it sounds like some smart dealers ordered several for stock, and demand exceeded supply, like with the Hindles at first. BTW, they said our bags had shipped and the color panels were already in.
