There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. Sorry to be a repeat but I have seen conflicting bulb numbers, I would take them out but it's a PITA.
The standard and fog lights are H7 and H3 correct?

What Spyder do you have???????

You are posting in the F3 forum so the first guess was you had a F3 then the bulbs you stated are wrong. Then I checked your profile and it says you have a 09 GS. :dontknow::dontknow::dontknow::dontknow::dontknow::gaah::gaah::gaah::gaah::gaah::gaah:

It would be very helpful if you state the model and year of the Spyder you are asking the question about.

Curious..!!

Did your new F3 come with a manual..?? All this stuff is in there. I always recommend when getting a new vehicle to read the manual. I know us guys don't need no stinkin manual but..hey.. It answers a lot of your questions and many you didn't even ask yet...:lecturef_smilie:you will get your answer here but may get nipped at....

I read the manual cover to cover, always do with any new vehicle, I did not recall seeing any bulb specifications for any of the bulbs except the front LEDs it said to see the dealer.
I will check when I get home I may have just missed it. I did skip over the "how to ride a Spyder" part considering my 2009 had 35,000 miles on it, figured I had that part nailed.

The F3 also has adjustable front shocks (Preload) BUT the manual states- "See Dealer!"
Seems like they are cutting corners on our F3 Manual?

I picked up a set of AUX lights for my F3 did not like the H3 bulbs that came with it. Went with LED Bulbs for a whiter, brighter bulbs.

I stand by my original statement just went through the manual again and it does not state bulb number! Only thing it states is wattage. So I surely hope your weren't nipping at me.;)

Sorry...they are skimping on the new manuals. ..soon they will all be online...

No worries, I hated that the only service manual I could get for my 2009 was a digital version. You don't know how many times I was tempted to print the hundreds of pages and make a binder. Searching on a laptop with greasy hands is not fun.

The manual will be/should be important reading for us newbies. When I rang my dealer today, one of the things I did mention was upon delivery will I get my manual same time, they said yes during hand over.
The manual for F3-S will be my bedtime reading. :)

Do you have a picture you could send with F3 fitted with LED Bulbs?
Would be great to see the difference.

You don't have to wait to get the manual. A digital version is available on their web site. Yours will be the CE version.

ok here are 2 pictures for the AUX light H3 LED bulbs. The one in the garage is with one standard bulb on the left (picture left) and the one on the right is the LED It is hard to tell but the standard H3 bulb is very yellow. The LED bulb is very white. I don’t know if it is brighter but its white which is what I wanted. I do know that the LED Aux light bulb, the light comes straight forward and the standard H3 light is all over the place.

The second picture is at night its very hard to distinguish the AUX Lights with the LED front headlights. I do know that its a lot of light and its white. Having yellow lights next to the LED front headlights just looked wrong.

You must be sure to shop around for a H3 LED bulb that is close to the same length as stock. Most of H3 LED bulbs are much longer.

I can tell you that installing the AUX light unit is a major pain in the butt, big time!!!!! But if you already have the AUX light unit, changing out the bulbs is no big deal.
