something i just found out about the f3 and all our bikes

i was on facebook and there was a advert for the F3 so i watch it. they were talking about exhausts and the AKRAPOVIC EXHAUST on all the bikes. it says AKRAPOVIC is the only one that will be active with the warranty on the bike. if you watch this video listen carefully where he says it at the 56 second mark on the video, did anyone know this

Yet another threat....

they can claim that anything you change will void the warranty and do...but I have yet to see a case on any of them. Does help sales for the akrapovic (whaterver arrangement they have) but proving that a pipe change caused anything other than hearing loss is tough. Have you seen any claim on the car tire thing..?? After market trailer and or hitches..?? Aftermarket shocks..?? Non brp oils and filters..?? And on and on. What do they always say...follow the money...:roflblack:

While it wouldn't change my mind about buying (or NOT buying) a particular pipe; it's good to know that the Akrapovic gets BRP's seal of approval. :thumbup:

Good information. When it comes to BRP approved products or nothing, VS. the warranty--we have yet to see or hear of a claim being contested.
