Yes, I added an extra outlet up front for that option and I believe the roof fan is reversible. :thumbup:

Tow Mirrors, what do you think about these. They weigh about a pound & a half each, too heavy for the RT stockers to support, you think?

I like it. I hope you'll post how your towing and camping experience goes when you start using it.

I'd consider a tent camper, but I think I'd only use it in the spring and fall, when I wouldn't miss the a/c so much.

In another post I mentioned AC was an option on this trailer. I'd love to chat with the owner of the rig pictured below. He has the 990 motor and AC in the trailer. A case of less & more if you know what I mean. (Not a knock just less power & more weight)

Your profile does not say what year or model Spyder you have. From your avatar, it looks like an RT. If 2013 or later, the top retainer "pellets" (BRP's name, not mine) are crap. You can replace them with 2012 part #219800158, they are the same left & right, and are supposedly much better. I also have physically screwed my mirrors to the Tupperware, as mine have fallen off twice. I carry spare clips also. If you physically attach the mirrors, as I did, you would probably be OK.

Good bad or ugly I will know in a couple of weeks. I'll report back whichever way it turns out.

I'm fairly confident that I'm starting with a better platform than these guys. (not Harley bashing) Three contact patches and three brakes VS two.

I don't think the Harley hitch is attached to the swing arm like ours is. You will have a 55 lb weight bobbing up & down with each swing arm movement. Hope it will be OK for you.

It's pretty easy. I drilled a small hole in the black part of the mirror housing -there are no wires there, so no worries - closest to the body side panel (make sure that the hole in the mirror housing is larger than the diameter of the screw), and then slowly screwed in a stainless steel self tapping screw through the hole into the Tupperware. The mirrors are now solidly attached, and I have had no problems since. Whenever it goes to the dealer and I know that they need to take the mirrors off for any reason, I just take the screws out and leave them at home. Hope this helps.

Ok i'd like to thank Spongebob 2015 again for pointing me in this direction, a great experience so far! :thumbup:

I drove out to Elkhart on Monday to pick up my new Twist TR7. I took the truck because of the unknowns with hooking up the Spyder.

Microlite is a small three man operation, no free coffee or fancy waiting room, just a down and dirty shop making a nice product.

A few random pics, I'll report back.

Just a thought. A past poster here "CyncySpyder" Pulled a similar trailer all over the country with a 990. Try and PM Dave and he will be able to answer a lot of your questions. He also installed Cameras and a Video display to watch "Teddy" and the rear. If you start searching you will find thousands of his posts here with complete details of there adventures. It's a stabilizing jack for when you're camping. Unfortunately the aluminum frame makes it too light for a hitch receiver. (which I'd like to have)

Hope I don't jinks myself here but, got the lights hooked up, no problem. Had a square four pin plug that I got when I bought the Spyder, I just matched the colors! :thumbup:

And, now the part that's going to sound like a tiny little bit of BS. :dontknow: You can hardly notice it behind you! Pulls & stops just fine.:clap: I haven't had it on the interstate but around town I am impressed so far.
