• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I tried brp Web site, part number, description and get nothing! What is this dumb guy doing wrong? HELP
Looking for a part that doesn't exist for 2013 and earlier? :dontknow: You need to look for the 2014/15 grill and modify it a little bit to fit the 2013 & earlier. And use all kinds of ingenuity to figure out where in the parts list the **** thing exists and what kind of name some clueless BRP draftsman/engineer/tech writer gave it. Finding parts in the BRP parts lists & diagrams is a real pain in the rear at times. There are cases where the same part referred to in the owner's manual, the service manual, and the parts list has three different names.

It is hard to find, as there is no option for a search on the BRP site. You have to go the the genuine parts page, click roadster, click 2014, click Spyder, click RT Limited SE6 2014, click the first 09 body and accessories 31Y1403, item 312, part # 705004803. Pain in the :cus: but it is there.

Here's the Link

Here is the link on BRP's web site to where OldguyinCT is talking about above...
http://parts.spyder.brp.com/Index.aspx?s1=udtq248vk0ruqu665k3g9sh841&catalog_id=0&language_id=1&siteid=1

Here is the "feed in" page to that. You get to it by following Spyder -> Accessories -> Genuine Parts on the home page menu.
http://can-am.brp.com/spyder/genuine-parts-accessories-riding-gear/genuine-parts.html

Then, after selecting the proper year and model of Roadster, you follow down the list to the part section you want - in this case 09 Body & Accessories. Then you must find the part on the picture and follow the number (312) to the part listing.

It's actually MUCH easier to find it on the Pitbull Power Sports Parts Finder Page. That's where I found it and then I just ordered it from Pitbull. But with the part number, your local dealer can order it for you as well and probably won't charge you shipping.

What sort of Mods do we need to make to make it fit on the 2013?
You just need to trim a little plastic off the bottom edge of the block-off plate for the lower vent opening, so that it fits into the 2013 lower vent. It then fits right into place. There is a tab on the right side that you can fasten to an existing interior panel with a machine screw. The top just fastens in as it normally would. That's all there is to it.
