• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. Wow another Spyder Rally for 2016

Squared Away will be there for sure. Patti, it will be in St George which is 120 miles north of Las Vegas. Absolutely beautiful riding there.

Beautiful Zion!

Utah

We'll be there the third week of Sept for our 6th year of atving in southern Utah. Would be great if we could stay another week to Spyder! Will look forward to it next year. Beautiful country!

Purrfect! Some of the best riding in America. Late September would be great. No heat but you will need fall clothes. We will be there.

Oh Yes!:yes::yes: The area is some of the best Red Rock Desert riding you will encounter anywhere in the US. Just miles away from Zion National Park, Cedar Breaks, Bryce Canyon, and Red Canyon. As mentioned, all near St. George.

Take out your atlases and find them. I have done them all and am sorely tempted to make something work for me. I would really like to ride those areas on a :spyder2: RT.

My wife took a vacation around this area and loved it. I'm wondering about the heat at that time of year. September hits an average high of 87, but October goes down to 75. Just something to consider for those who are planning the event.

While the temps in October may be cooler the chance for snow in the mountains is too big. Remember it is a dry heat and right now 87 would feel pretty darn good compared to the 105 forecast for tomorrow.

I didn't see any dates. What are the actual dates. This is my back yard so I want to be there.Snow Canyon,Zion's Canyon,North Rim, Bryce,Cedar Breaks Kolob Canyon, Kolob Reservoir,St George,Shakespeare Festival.Tuachan, Veyo Pies ( you have to have lunch at Veyo Pies). I love riding down here.

BTW the Avatar picture was taken in Bryce

The info I found is showing that it never snows in that area in October. I can see how 87 looks cool from where you are in Vegas, but for me it is on the edge of where it's still enjoyable to ride.

Is the snow an issue in getting there or back? It certainly doesn't seem to be an issue in Red Rock. This isn't my neighborhood, so I may not be seeing important parts of the picture.

That is a one day ride from our cabin in Durango. Late Sept would be a fantastic time to go. Really hope this comes together. Louise and I would plan to attend and try and bring a contingent from Houston.

Would love to ride and see that area.

I am so happy to see the excitement for this event!!! We cannot wait to hold our sixth annual western regional Can-Am Spyder rally in one of the most beautiful places on Earth!!

Website has been updated to include host hotel information and the hotel is currently taking reservations.

The issue is with early snow in early October going through Cedar City, UT. I live in Salt Lake and I am the event coordinator for the rally. Cedar City is along I-15 in central/southern Utah and is about the only direct way to get there for anyone coming from the Salt Lake or Idaho area. I would hate to not be able to make it to the event due to early snow.

In addition, the St George marathon is the first Saturday in October. We felt that the last week in September was the best choice as far as weather and availability of hotel rooms and venue space.

We hope to see you there!!! :)
