There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. War memorial

Barb and I took a ride up Mount Greylock (Adams, MA) today, to the war memorial tower via Notch Road which just reopened.

The monument is on top of the mountain (3,491 feet asl) and is open when the weather is good. The tower and pretty much anywhere on top of the mountain has views in every direction. Bascom Lodge will be open soon; you can then eat a lunch there and relax indoors if it's cold.

A beautiful Spyder ride and a nice tradition to honor all who served and have fallen.

Yikes.
:yikes:

Well, Mike, I suppose since it happened on the top of the mountain, you could've coasted all the way to Connecticut.

John will be in touch a few of my co workers have been waiting for road to reopen :ani29::spyder:

All "officially open" now. A friend of mine took his bike up earlier this spring before it was open. They have a gate, but you could go around it with a bike or snowmobile. Usually the "official" opening means that all the snow is gone and the fallen tree debris has been removed from the road.

They didn't seem to widen the road, but they did put new wood (I hope they're cedar or they won't last long) guardrails, new signs, rumble strips before hiker crossings, and more gravel pull-offs for avoiding the people who try to take motor homes up there.

Nice ride! Once things calm down - I'd say in 4 weeks, I'd like to take a road trip there.

A nice detour for when you guys camp in Bennington!

(Good diner nearby, too. I still owe you!)

ddeyle is coming up on his Phantom Spyder from North Carolina pretty soon. Maybe we can show him some New England hospitality--even though he grew up here...

Let's DO IT! When is ddeyle coming up? We are a bit tied up but after June 26th we are good to go.:2thumbs::2thumbs: And we'll need a roadtrip by then - BADLY.

John, that is a beautiful monument with an equally beautiful view. Great pics!
