• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Tires....a.g.a.i.n

tire thread :D

Ill add that I ride mine very hard and love to hear the tire spin ;), with that being said my tire needs to be replaced at 3900 miles not complaining its my riding. I have a new Kumho tire in the garage if I ever get time to take mine apart. My riding style WILL NOT change so if the car tire lasts longer then the Kenda ill get another if it doesnt last any longer whats the sense, was a cheaper but was little harder to get. My dealer already said he will not install it so Ill half to do it at my work.

I know what the word " SLANDEROUS " means............I haven't said anything that meets that criteria .......

I agree with you. "Slander" refers to the oral (spoken) defamation of someone's reputation and/or goods. Libel is a printed statement of similar content. What you had to say about BRP was printed on these pages, it was therefore libellous rather than scandalous, (allegedly). An action for libel by BRP in respect of your statement would therefore be brought not against you but against the publisher, namely the SpyderLovers website. Funny old world the lawyers have made for us, isn't it?

Wrong, ...what you surmised ( and printed ) might be considered " libelous ".......But I didn't say or PRINT what you did...................and as far as any so-called Legal action against Spyderlovers.....you Sir have " NO CLUE " what you are talking about , the legal system in this country is much different than over there ..............Enjoy those many ,many, many Kenda's :roflblack::roflblack::roflblack:.......Mike

This seems very telling...in a learning mode, that is.

So far nobody has admitted to going back to motorcycle tires after installing car tires.

I'm not commenting on safety or design issues. This is just fact finding for me. It is interesting that IT SEEMS once someone decides to mount car tires on their Spyder, they do not later decide to mount motorcycle tires on it.

Dan,
i had a 2014 rt,stock rear wore down about 6,000 mi, replaced with car tire. Car tire did not have as much grip. It was a harder tire. I now have an F3. I plan on staying with stock tires or some motorcycle tire designed for spyder.

While :agree: that the ultimate liability for your statements will stop at your doorstep; if someone prints a copy of this page... :lecturef_smilie: Geoff is right: it could become "libel", if BRP or Kenda decided to pursue the matter. nojoke

Hey I just got 1650 miles on my OEM tires. WTF-- oh never mind, sorry I was looking at my AM radio tuner.

Jack

That brought a welcome grin, Jack. :roflblack:
Just a friendly warning though, please try not to confuse your AM dial with your heart-rate monitor!
:yikes:

Thanks, needed to throw that in as these overbearing and monotonous oil, tire threads get a little carried away. (mostly by the same over emotional people)

You should be able to block the emails...

Yeah, but there's probably a law stopping an individual from having their electronic communications blocked.

If you decide to do a little research, Bob, you may find it under "The Communication Rights of Obnoxious Pests" Act. :joke:
