• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Bad news for H-D

THIS IS WHAT'S REALLY IMPORTANT

According to that Headline .....This involves 2 years of production involving certain models ...How many ??? 185,000.......This has to be a mis-print. I know H.D. sells a lot of Bikes but 185,000 in two years. I find that hard to believe ......Mike

Too bad....

don't wish it on anyone but it shows that mistakes and faulty parts go into all vehicles...:banghead: it's tough when your product is dependant on others...:banghead:

Your suspicions would be correct. HD sells around 280,000 (give or take) motorcycles per year.

This recall only affected 185,000 of those sold. They were ones specifically fitted with the defective saddlebag clip.

Glad to hear that it was an easy thing to fix!
And your sales numbers are correct: they are a MAJOR player in the market; Can Am isn't...(Yet...)

Soooooooo, it sounds like the H.D. numbers are correct.....To expand, then in one year HD sells more Bikes than BRP has sold since the Spyder was brought to market 8 years ago........Question ? How can BRP even produce the Spyder with these LOW numbers and at the Price they do.? ? Mike
