There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. Ride-On Tire Protection System

Good morning everyone,
My wife (Spyder Ryder810) and I are planning a cross country trip this summer, from Michigan to Idaho, into Montana, Yellowstone, etc. I've seen several posts regarding the Ride-on product line. I would apprieciate any input, experience that any of you have had with the product. I believe Lamonster, and dtang may have used it. I talked with the company this morning and the rep said for the Spyder I would need to use their auto product line, while in my Victory Vision I would use their motorcycle products. Any help?:helpsmilie:

I had Ride-On installed in January. No loss of air so far. And yes, you will need the Automotive formula. The distributor in San Diego installed mine for nothing. I did not buy from a dealer...got it straight from the distributor. The rep can also give you the number for the nearest distributor. The product price should be the same. I highly recommend it.

Dudley---can you poiint me at a SD or south Orange County locations where I can get this installed ? (I would do it myself but lack an air compressor)

Call Alex at 619-572-7092. Tell him I gave you the number. I went to his house to pick it up and that's when he offered to put it in for me.

how complicated is it to get it going?

Rotate tire to have valve stem near bottom, remove valve core, let air out, squeeze proper measurement into tire, clean inner valve (with air or Q-tip), replace core, air up. You will get a little unbalance when you ride first few miles, then smooth from then on. I really recommend the stuff. Best investment you can make...better than a pump/patch kit that takes up room.

Thanks everyone. It looks like Ride-on is the way to go. With the input from you and what the manufacturer told me, I'll be placing my order.

I'm thinking about putting 'ride on' in my car (Caliber SRT4) and gf's (Crossfire) neither car comes with a spare. You get a compressor and a canister of fix it. I don't think there are that many cars that come without a spare.

Both Brian and I have it in our tires. It gives me a sense of security with the LA trip coming on. You have to ride for a while to get the vibration feeling out but after that, it is nice.

Some say that when it sets, it actually makes the ride more comfortable...is this true? I wonder if there are any dealers in MD that can 'install' it for me...I'm not sure I want to deflate my tire, take it off the rim, put goop in it, put it back on, and pump it up...I'm too likely to do something wrong along the way! :gaah:

You don't have to take it off the rim. Just jack it up, deflate tire, remove stem, insert the "magic fluid", re-install stem and re-inflate. ;)
