X-creen Tour saved my Blue Ridge

Bought X-creen Tour (the larger model) from Revzilla. OMG what a difference! Feels exactly like my RT Limited when adjusted to look above the windshield. Bought the clamp on model and installed using the double pivot method. This allows adjusting height and vertical angle. It's 14" at the widest point and 5" tall across the middle .Took it out for a ride. Stopped to make one adjustment which only took seconds to make. At 55 hairs blowing but no ear buffeting. I'm 5'-11" and this would easily adjust for someone taller.

Have the MRA windshield with the flip up and they do work well even on the short models like my RS...

can you take a couple of pictures so I can see what this looks like on the Blue ridge F3 at different angles. I going to do this for my F3 Blue ridge setup as well but wanted to see what it looks like. Also, I have heard that these x-creens are hard to assemble. What was your experience?

I have an X-Creen sport on my F3 and it took just a few minutes to assemble it.

Not having any luck uploading the pics. I'll keep trying. The Tour model is a lot bigger than the one shown up above. 14" wide by 5" high. I think it looks great on the F3. Took me about 30 minutes to figure out the instructions and get it on the Blue Ridge. The clamp on method works great. I see no need to drill holes and permanently attach.

dont want to interfere on your discussion on the blue ridge, but I also have sport x on my blue ridge, just happened that I had it on my Honda Deauville as well. I believe you are looking for the touring version? if so, I think you might have a problem, because right where the clamps are on the screen, the blue ridge curves down,not allowing for the wider screen. In any event, let me know if you still want/need the pictures. I can shoot'em for you tomorrow and measure the maxs clamp space required. I also recommend, if you choose the clamp version, which works very well, to use the light locktite for the wormscrews. I lost mine already twice on the Deauville, so I used locktite , now its good.

Stebrock says he has installed the tour version on the Blue Ridge. So maybe he got it to work. He is trying to upload pictures

Yes the clamp on version attached easily. The way the clamps attach to the X-creen allows them to pivot left to right. No issues and it's not coming off. 2 set screws per clamp lock it on the windshield. The set screw are visible when riding so if they start to back out it would be obvious.

At 55 MPH light breeze at eye level. The wind hits me at top of forehead. Slight ear buffeting. With hand up and palm facing forward I feel the full force of the wind just ouside my shoulders.

I am 5 feet 4 inches. Should work great but I am more concerned about 65 mph and up thats when I really feel the wind. How does it perform at this speed?
