• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Video: Spyder RT rear trunk gas shock "fix"

Great fix...

 for the video and explanation. This has been asked a lot just one question...how did you get it on ?? coiled it or does the tip come off to slide it on...:lecturef_smilie:

Still working fine... I did take it off once and re-stretch it... If you can get a stiffer one all the better.

Chupa... you remove the shock and then yes you coil it on. The end does not come off.

Hi Bob,
Thanks for another useful tip! :2thumbs:
Question: at what point of adding lights and accessories to the lid, does this become an issue. I'm considering adding the HMT: is that the "tipping point"? :dontknow:

I added the BRP internal trunk lid zip bag and the HMT light. I do not keep a lot of stuff in the internal lid zip bag... My 2 remotes for my alarm, 4 AAA batteries, and 2 USB cords. Just that caused my lid not to stay up.
