There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. Issue With Water In Front Trunk

I made a stop at a roadside produce stand yesterday and loaded up the front trunk. When I got home and unloaded the bags I noticed the trunk was soaked. It doesn't look like it came from the bags. We have had torrential storms and my bike is outside, I had the full cover on for the big storm but generally use a short cover for the seat and windshield. We have had lots of rain and the seals appear to be in place.

Anybody experience this or have suggestions on where the water could be coming in?

From looking at your bike; you have a 2013... There was a technical service bulletin issued about water leaks by the front fuse panels; did you have that addressed?

You did not share what year your Spyder is. If it is a 2013 or later, top of the list battery access panel not installed correctly. Next fuse panel access covers not installed correctly. Accessories installed in the trunk and water following the wires in.

Billy,
I'm pretty sure that if his Avatar is correct; it's a 2013... It's got the old style front end, but with the new style fenders...
I'll go dig around, and see if I can find that TSB...

EDIT: Sorry... I don't have that one.

Rain leakage into frunk

There was a thread in April of this year to which I responded. It was titled as above. Mine is a 2014 but I believe it could also apply to a 2013. When I was at Spyderfest I spoke to one of the BRP reps. I believe his name was Danny Davy or Davie. He said it was something that periodically happened and was a warranty issue.
In my case if the Spyder sits in the rain or I wash it and run the hose on it, the frunk gets quite a bit of water collecting in the bottom. I tried an experiment using a cup of water and found that as the water runs off the windshield, it runs down into the "hole" under the latch that locks the frunk. You need to do it with the frunk open to see. It then ran out of the seam and into the frunk and down past the door for the battery and into the bottom. It was best seen by unzipping the frunk liner and pulling it out of the way. Attached are a couple of pictures that hopefully will show what I mean.
Coincidentally, I will be taking it to my dealer on Tuesday to show the service manager.

Thanks for the pointers...

It is in fact a 2013. I did peal back the lining and poured a cup of water in the latch hole and the water ran out the bottom as I assume it should. No leaking noticed in compartment, next I will pull out the hose.

Battery Access Panel

The dealer did connect a lead for the trickle charger, maybe they didn't put the panel back correctly.
Rain on its way so I will check another day.
