• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Newbee..been looking for two years. Bought today.

Newbee

TexasRanger,
There are trike safety courses in Texas. You might consider doing some additional research.

Another Texas ryder...welcome to the party!

CONGRATS!

You've got yourselves an awesome ryde...and your location is great too! The safety courses are all worth the money...valuable lessons on how to ride and the differences between 2 and 4 wheel safety concerns.

My advice...lots of practice and remember an empty parking lot is very forgiving when you're learning to ryde ANY bike or trike. ;)

Hope we see you on the Texas roadways soon!....:doorag:

Welcome

Welcome to the Spyder world from Central Washington, you will very much enjoy the bike. Lots of good information here and lots of good folks so visit and ask questions if you need to. I haven't had my Spyder very long after nearly 60 years of riding two wheelers, but loving it more every day. Just came back from a 1700 mile ride to Cody, WY and back over Bear Tooth Pass. Beautiful and fun. Ride safe.

Well, it turns out that we are very close neighbors and bought similar Spyders on almost the same day!

Hopefully we bought different colors!!! LOL.

I was going to go WHITE, but at the last minute went with black, comfort seat, and adjustable handlebar.

As a joke, we should borrow the other's bike and put it in the driveway. Tell the wife that we thought two would be best.

If the expression on her face is GOOD, then we buy another. If it is BAD, we just explain the joke and how we made new friends!

:)

That would surprise my wife for sure. lOL. Mines white just like the pic.

A driver's backrest is the first accessory that I purchased. It's a necessity for me. They run around $430 at the dealer, so I checked EBay and found a brand new, in the box Can-Am backrest for the great price of $340. So before going to the dealer, check EBay. There are plenty of authorized Can-Am dealers doing business on that website.

Good luck with your new ride!!!!

Lots of miles

Woods fun center are great people to work with. That's where I got my 2015 RT special edition. Hope to see you on the road!

I was in Texas a few years ago and had a problem with my Garmin, on my 2011 rt. Woods got it fixed and did not even charge me . Great place You will love the hill country rides.

Congrats on the New Ride

Hi I'm sure that you will love your new spyder and like me want to ride it all the time. Congrats again. And be safe on the Road.
