We rode up in the Poconos about three months ago on our New York trip, beautiful scenery.

There are some GREAT roads to explore!

And a couple of stinkers, too!

Try to avoid RT81 as much as possible. Take local side roads if at all possible. Check WWW.511PA.com for road updates.

RT6 East or West is a nice ride. On the western end is the "Grand Canyon of the East".

RT97 on the NY side is an awesome ride. Port Jervis to Hancock.

Coopers Seafood and Steak House in Scranton. Great food, part museum, lots of memorabilia. They have 450ish beer in stock. 40 or so on tap.

Steamtown National Site. Largest collection of trains you will ever see! www.nps.gov/stea

Local dealers, Rusty Palmers in Honesdale is awesome. Haven't heard much about Two Jacks in Wilkes Barre.

    www.dcnr.state.pa.us/stateparks

Lots of waterfalls to see if you like that.

Two local casino's if you like to lose money.

There's so much to do. If you have something specific you want to look for. Post away. Tom

we will look forward to seeing and meeting you. The Wednesday rides are impromptu so we never know ahead of time where we will be going, but always on nice usually very rural roads. I am sending out an e-mail to several who usually attend Wednesday rides to look for you at the diner. Many eat breakfast there then leave for the ride around 9:00 am. I will try to be on the ride, Alicej
