my new spyder rt singing?
I pick up my new spyder today in cleveland oh. put about 100 miles on it and parked it in the garage and begain to polish it. i hear a high pitch low volume noise and think its coming from somewere else in the garage.but about 3 hours later i started to walk around to pinpoint the sound and it was coming from under the front of the spyder? normal?

Normal - Except the three hour part.
This humming noise after engine shutoff is normal but should not be doing it for thre hours. I think it is supposed to be 40 minutes.
It is the throttle body being held closed to prevent issues with hot restarts. an issue experienced on the 2010 RT, this is the fix.

I'd think it best ot give the dealer a call; three hours seems a bit on the long side for the choir to be singing...

If you didn't touch the key in that three hours you have a problem, it should only last 40 min. If you turned the key on at all it will start the process again.

Me Too. It sounds like a 12 hundred Hz tone. As you have experienced, the tone varies in time. (At first, I crawled all over the machine attempting to isolate the source. I couldn't) And it doesn't matter if I take a short or long ride. From what I hear from the folks on the forums 'it is a not to worry issue'
