2020 Top Box Will Not Remain Open - any solutions?

I need a new Trunk strut as the old one won't hold lid open. The Can AM part is $79.95. Is there a cheaper place to get one?

I made my own from a pattern that " safecracker " sent me..... a used a piece of 1/2in. plywood .... drilled a hole in it. and put the bolt that is used in the hinge on the other side..... Yes it's manual, But it will work FOREVER ....

A $1.98 rubber door stopper works quite well. Windy days are not a problem.

....If you are getting lots of water in the rear trunk .... you should get that fixed ..... I don't have that problem ....Mike
