Took the bike out for a spin yesterday. We did the "Scenic Loop" just north of Daytona off Rt.1A. Decided to check out some side roads. We found an old sugar mill ruin site that was over 6,600 acres at one point. Sugar, corn and cotton were grown. Florida at one time had 12 sugar mills, some with their own distilleries for making rum. Nice riding, lots of bikes on the road. Passed a large group of Spyder riders going the other way. Hopefully one of them reads this. Please contact me, would like to join. Happy New Year everyone! Tom
Baloo is my name. Spyders are my game. Well, it's a doo-bah-dee-doo, yes, it's a doo-bah-dee-doo, I mean a doo-bee, doo-bee, doo-bee, doo-bee, doo-bee-dee-doo. And, well, now. Ha ha! What have we here?
Happy first ride of the year. We are starting off with 32 degrees. No snow or ice on the road. But...I am now a bit spoiled. Supposed to hit mid 50's in a couple days. Think I am going to wait.

Well, we have had snow, rain, more rain, wind, rain.....get the idea? Temperature yesterday got up to 50*F but rain. I don’t ever, start of a trip with rain, so....... Weather forecast shows more rain. Spyder is parked in DRY garage throughout this crap. Only good Thing I can add is I Don’t Have To Shovel It!
I had to work yesterday but got out for a few hours today after I washed the bike. Mostly cloudy but the temps ranged from upper 40s to low 60s. Couldn't pass it up.
Central New Jersey here.. I took a 60 mile ride on 1-1-21, low 50s with a cool breeze after an early morning rain. When the temperature hits 50 or higher I am taking a ride. Happy New year every one !!

Took mind to work yesterday, started out at 36 and had warmed up to 56 on the way home. Just have to dress for the weather. As long as it is not raining or snowing when I leave I am good to go.
I was finally able to grab a quick 35 mile ride yesterday myself. Temp was around 40° so not too bad. Got a few inches of snow a few days ago, but then it warmed up a tad and rained, so barely no snow left to cause any issues. Forecast is calling for rain the next couple of days but I might be able to sneak a ride in between showers.

Sadly passed away in December '23. Still helping the SpyderLovers Community, but no longer posting. Greatly Missed.
Today the temp in Northern Nevada was in the 50s. Couldn't resist riding.
Took the Spyder out for a wash and decided to dry in the breeze. Filled up the gas tank and
rode 45 miles around and thru Carson City.
