Time for tires and alignment
So in Seneca SC which about 30 mins from me they do laser alignment. Said it will cost me $210. Also $89 to run the diagnostic on why it says brake failure. I said it’s because the brake fluid was low but I added more. Anyways. Since my rear tire is bald in middle and the front tires have now gone bald on the inside it’s time for a alignment. What sucks is the rest of the tire have a lot of tread left. Does it matter really does the rear tire name brand don’t match the front? I was on tire rack . Com and found a rear tire I was thinking of. Oh the dealership said it’s a 3 week wait before they would get to it. Which is fine by me because I just delivered my baby a month early so been busy going to and from the hospital. Anyways. Thinking about changing the tires myself and then driving my 09 SE5 to the dealership for the alignment. Here is the rear tire I was thinking about.

$210 sounds way high for a laser alignment. My local dealer quoted $120 and I have heard of some as low as $100.

Just not all sure who does a laser alignment in SC

I agree that This is too high a price for a laser alignment. Have had two of the Khumo's on the rear, Good tire, fair mileage ~ 16000 miles. Need to keep the inflation pressures below 20 psi for optimal wet weather performance.

So I called the one in Asheville NC. They transferred me to a Subaru dealership and then they said they couldn’t do it. WTH

Sorry about that; just trying to help. Cannot testify to the accuracy of the information on the ROLO website and have never tried using it since I know of a relatively local dealer in central Indiana that does it for $120. I hope you are able to find someone halfway close to you. Otherwise, you may be stuck paying the $210 fee in Seneca. I would at least try to negotiate with them since nationwide dealers do it for much less. Good luck!

My friend who does alignment on his vehicles is coming over to look at it

If you can't get Squared Away to do your Alignment I would be cautious just because a dealer does Alignments doesn't necessarily mean they know what they are doing also to check brake light on probably means one of two things low brake fluid caused by worn down brake pads

Pads looked great. Fluid was a little low. Topped it off. Be nice if warning would go off on its on. But nope. Got to pay $89 for them to reset it

So take your accurate air pressure gauge and let some air out until they are the pressure you want.
