    Default Garage door opener.

20180424_162604.jpgTook a suggestions of putting in the pull down instruction card location. Didn't have to modify anything on the bike. Thanks for the suggestions. Just wanted to add a photo.

Looking for some suggestions for adding a garage door opener to my Spyder - 2014 STSE5LMT.
On my Honda, I just have it strapped to the handle bar, but really don't find a good spot to put one on the Spyder.
If I strap it to the handle bars, it is kinda in the way of the Garmin mount.
Thought about putting it in one of the blank spaces for the toggles - wiring in the button, but I'm not good understanding wiring.
Wondering what anyone else has done. Thanks for the input.

    Default Key Chain Remote

I purchased a smaller remote that worked with my garage door. My jacket has a small pocket on my left upper arm (don't know what it is really for) that is the perfect size for the smaller remote. I put a small piece of velcro (the hook part) on the back of the remote to hold it in that pocket. It works great, I pull out of my garage touch my left shoulder and the garage door closes. Looks cool too

Does your model have the "safety instruction card" that pulls out from the top of the dash board ??

I found a good use for mine.

I shoved the bracket/clip on my garage door remote into that slot....firmly.....and it is a tight fit and stays put good.
Adding a little piece of stick-on door bumper to the button makes it easier to push.

    Default Not that hard....

I have mine behind the instrument cluster and wired to a button on the dash. You have blank spaces for buttons so somewhat easier. Once you open up the remote you can find the button connections and tap into them to run the leads out to the switch. If not your thing take it to any electronic repair location and have them solder in some leads. Then you have some good suggestions above as well....

Thanks for the idea. Used your idea and worked out great. Didn't have to modify anything on the bike, just the remote bracket.

I have been looking at these but for my F3. I have a friend who has one on his slingshot and he loves it.
