Here in SW CT, we are in the "blizzard zone", with a forecast of 12 - 18 inches. Indeed, hope this is the last one.

Time to go for Milk, Bread and Eggs.

At least it's going to be cold enough to be a dry snow. At least in my area anyway. Easy to push.

There's GOLD in that that white; right Rob?

Well in my area starting tomorrow morning we have a "Winter Storm Warning" out from 7:00 am Tuesday to 8:00 pm Wednesday night, and expecting 8 to 12 inches of heavy wet snow( White Fungus). They are also saying the Evening/morning commute( Wednesday) might be difficult.
Only travel in emergency, the snow is supposed to be heavy, at times and up to 1'inch per hour.
I am taking Tuesday/ Wednesday off not because of the Storm. This will be good for the Ski area's ( Sugarbush, Mad River Glen).
But then on Thursday the temps in the 30's! Hurry up Spring! I have Robins on lawn, and it is sunny.

We have a pool going here in the office:
The Missus says 10"
I'm saying 16"
My Uncle Jack is sticking with 22"
The rules
We'll have two separate measurements taken:
One his house
One at our office
the measurement must be taken in a place that isn't to be significantly affected by the wind.
The time of the storm's snowfall is to only include snow accumulation from between midnight tonight, and 8:00am on Wednesday morning.
An average of the snowfall from the two measurements will be computed, and the one of us that it closest will win the pool of money
In this case: it's only 75 cents!

Let us know how the new snow thrower works Bob. Some pictures would be nice.
I am going to sit back for now, watch the sun, enjoy the drips coming off the roof, and watching the snow go down by about an inch a day. Maybe, we will get lucky and be done with it.
