To all you wise guys, you can keep the comments to yourself. I have read the owners manual and it does a very poor job of explaining how to get ot the battery. Maybe in my next life I will be a brilliant wrench like you jerks.
Wow, you probably aren't going to make a bunch of friends here with a comment like that. On page 125 of the 2015 RT owners manual they give pretty clear instructions on how to access the battery. "Battery LocationThe battery is located in the front storagecompartment.To access the battery, open the frontstorage compartment. Open the access cover.Unzip the liner if applicable. Loosen the screws and open the batteryaccess pan" They even have pictures.
So to recap, open the front trunk, unzip the liner, loosen the screws and open the battery access panel. Here's a freebie, the screws are Torx 30. Good luck. Sorry I couldn't get the pictures to post here
Edit: I thought you had a 15 but I'm pretty sure the exact same info is in the 14 manual on or around the same page.

Shouldn't that be 'pre 2013's'?? My 2013 RT Ltd has the battery in the frunk behind the liner & screwed in panel. The 2012's & earlier had it under the seat.

As an owner of a 14 RTL, may I suggest that you buy a battery tender. If the battery tender comes with a separate battery connector with 1/4" clips, cut a small hole in the frunk zipper lining (large enough to slide the connector through), and connect the red and black clips to the matching battery terminal, leaving the connecting end of the tender connector exposed on the outside of the zippered lining. By doing this you now have the ability to easily connect the battery tender to the battery and charge your battery after each use. Enjoy your Spyder.
The battery on all 2013 to 2016 RS, ST and RT is located behind the front trunk. It accessible by access panel located in the lower rear of the front trunk.

Sorry guys. I had read the manual but when I unzipped the liner in the frunk I was having problems knowing for sure what screws they were talking about. A couple of the comments came off as condescending and since I have the "short-fuse" disease, I typed first and thought later.

I've read my owner manual, and STILL....sometimes.....
Of course you're not expected to remember every detail of the owner's manual. But from my experience. If you just give an answer to the question. The OP often gets confused by a lot of answers from others that are wrong. If you give an answer and say it is in the owner's manual and then often the OP takes it as some sort of insult. I have been thinking that this is a no win and not to bother answering questions from newbies at all.
OK class, now that we are all playing nicely in the sandbox together, there will be an Owner's Manual quiz in the morning.

There are no dumb questions. Just because we get used to crazy stuff, it is still crazy stuff! Perfect example: "to change the oil in a 2014 RT, begin by removing the right mirror"!!!!
To the OP, just ask. The alternatives are to pay a shop to do everything, do nothing, or read and learn to do things yourself. I learn a lot here, and have met or know most of the folks who replied. I have a feeling you will fit right in! Joe
Here's a picture of what your battery access door looks like and is a little clearer than the one on page 131 of the 2014 manual. The two access bolts are on the left and right sides of the picture that, in this case also has a Bluetooth dongle on a bracket that is held in place by the access bolts. The double strand wire hanging down from the upper center of the door is the battery tender pigtail that is bolted to the battery terminals.

I found it. Another example of over thinking something. I was trying to figure out how to remove the zippered cover, when all I had to do was unzip it and take out the two screws and remove plastic cover.
